16 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
17 - 1 tsp sumac or zaatar (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pita bread wedges and baguette slices on a baking sheet. Warm for 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly crisp.
02 - Transfer hummus, baba ganoush, and tzatziki into small serving bowls. Drizzle each with a small amount of olive oil and sprinkle with fresh parsley or sumac/zaatar if desired.
03 - On a large serving platter or wooden board, arrange cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, olives, artichoke hearts, and baby carrots around the dip bowls.
04 - Place feta cubes on the platter. For enhanced flavor, grill halloumi slices in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown, then add to the board.
05 - Add warmed pita wedges, baguette slices, and crackers to the platter. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and finish with an extra drizzle of olive oil across the entire arrangement.
06 - Serve immediately while breads are still warm. Allow guests to create their own combinations of dips, vegetables, cheeses, and breads.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The magic happens in the assembly, not the cooking, leaving you free to actually enjoy your guests
  • Every person can build their own perfect bite, which somehow makes the food taste better
02 -
  • Cold halloumi is fine, but warm halloumi is what makes people pause mid-conversation and ask what you did differently
  • The platter looks most abundant when you choose bowls of different sizes and heights for the dips
03 -
  • Let the platter sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving—cold vegetables lose their flavor and texture
  • The best mezze boards look abundant but not crowded, so resist the urge to add just one more thing
